The R&D activities in the group are related to teaching activities completed or under development (thesis, master thesis and final degree projects) and to the practical application of new knowledge generated. The main research fields under development at the time being are:

Development of operating rules by coupling genetic algorithms and network optimization.

Water quality modelling.

Analysis of water resources management risks.

Calculating of biological indicators in river sections.

Generation of streamflows series by employing rainfall-runoff models.

Analysis and stochastic generation of streamflows series.
